The Fontentot Baseball Family

Tonight, the South Lake Charles Little League represents the Southwest Region in the World Series.

The game will be televised on ESPN. It starts at 7:00 Central, 8:00 Eastern time.

Thess are photos of the Fontenot and Ryder families after previous victories (Louisiana State Championship and Regional Championship).

Go South Lake Charles Little League! We may not be in Willilamsport, but are with you in spirit.

MK, hope you're sharing all the support the South Lake Charles Team is receiving from their Active Rain friends with them!!! Tell them we're all (well a lot of us) cheering them on!!! GO SOUTH LAKE CHARLES!!!

Judi, yes. Shelley, Kennon Fontenot's mom is an excellent photographer and has provided most of the photos that have been posted so she's well aware of AR support. The local paper, the American Press, has provided excellent coverage as well as KPLCTV.

Thank you for keeping us posted on the success and personal moments of our SOUTH LAKE CHARLES TEAM! We wish them the very best and most of all to have fun and meaningful and moments of a lifetime. These are the experiences that will be remembered as old men and I know with great pride. Please let them know we are all with them and wishing them GREAT luck and best wishes.

Derenda, you are so right!

I didn't start following the team as closely until they went to the state championship, when I got hooked listening to the games on the radio. I'm still mad at myself for turning down the opportunity to attend a portion of the state tournament.
