On Friday August 15th my good friend and associate Cristal Drake and I attended a presentation at CHOC, Children's Hospital of Orange County. The purpose of the meeting was to re-introduce the local RE/MAX agents to our  affiliate The Children's Miracle Network and to familiarize us with CHOC and it's programs.

RE/MAX International has been a sponsor of Children's Miracle Network since I believe 1992. This has not been a secret but as an office we had not participated in the program very deeply. I know that my reason for not jumping into to the program is that there was not a Children's Miracle Network Hospital in my community. I love to raise funds for a good cause but I prefer that it goes into our community.

If it was not for yesterday's invitation I would not have know that CHOC was now, and had been for a little over a year, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital. What this means is that I can raise money that will go directly,every cent to Children's Hospital of Orange County!  CHOC is on on the only places that I know that will give care to ANY child, insured or not and save their lives no matter what it takes! If they have the technology they will use it.

The reason I am writing this blog is that I want to challenge my fellow RE/MAX Agents to find out more about The Children's Miracle Network and what you can do to support your local CMN hospital. You can give the gift of LIFE to an infant, child or young adult by just donating a small amount of each transaction closing.

I know that Cristal Drake, Oakely Wright and I, Tina Maraj Shah pledge to contribute to The Children's Miracle Network and CHOC. Will you?
