RESA

Well you asked for it and you got it!! SIF and RESA are joining forces to host the SIF Round-table meetings throughout North America. RESA has created "Staging Awareness Month" during the month of November and we are holding the SIF/RESA Round-tables during this month to bring more attention to our industry.  We have a PR and Media blitz planned for optimum exposure.

The meetings will focus on the Staging Industry, creating standards, ethics and the wants and needs of the Professional Stager. You ALL can have a voice in creating standards and choosing the direction you want your industry to take.

This time around we have IKEA, CORT Furniture, PODS, Brook  Furniture and 1-800-GOT-JUNK on board to either host the locations or sponsor the events.

Keeping with the tradition of SIF and RESA ALL Stagers are welcome to attend or facilitate a meeting. You do not  have to be a member of RESA to attend or facilitate the meeting nor do you have to hold any particular designation.

If you are interested in facilitating a meeting please email your name, phone number, email and location to Shell@ShellBrodnax.comNever facilitated a meeting? No worries you will receive a facilitators packet with instructions and we have a great team to support you through the entire process.

If you know of someone that would like to sponsor an event please let us know.

This is fantastic news Shell.....

The teaming up of the 2 best Staging organizations is such a big step forward in the growth of the Staging industry.

I love the fact that you invite all folks from all associations to come together is ground breaking news.

I wish the other big named Staging associations will see that we need to stick together and grow together so we can all set one universal Staging Standard to become even more creditable. Having many associations who do not let others in unless you pay them big bucks are loosing site of what the Staging industry is trying to do, and that's educate the members and the public on what professional home stagers, Staging consultants and redesigning can do to help them in a professional way.

I want to thank RESA, SIF and Activerain for all there hard work in educating the public and the member here on what to look for in a professional Stager, and all the benefits that come out of hiring us.

Keep up the great work!

Are the questions once again going to be polled from stagers around the country? That was a great idea and  really kept the meeting on task.

Shell,

I will be planning one for Houston, all of Region 10 is welcome, and encouraged to come, if there are no meetings planned for their state.  RESA members if you live in  Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, or Oklahoma you are in Region 10.

Shell,I'm glad to see all of the responces.  Tells me that this round will even be more exciting than the last.  I think everyone will find that this will be a very exciting event.  Linda and I attended two of the last Round Table events, one in Chicago and one in Cincinnati.  I cannot properly express how educational these events were for us and the friendships we made at both events are irreplaceable.  It was also very refreshing to have people with training backgrounds and associations with RESA, SH.C, IRIS, HSR, CSP, ASHSR and those wild and crazy NAKED STAGERS.  It was just simply a blast of fresh air.

How exciting!  I'm looking forward to being a part of the round-table discussions!  I wasn't here for the previous discussions, so I missed out.  I see Karen Otto in my area is already working on scheduling the DFW round-table, but let me know what I can do to help out.
