When The Going Gets Tough....The Tough Must Advertise...Look To Localism.

By

HOW CAN I MAKE IT THROUGH A REAL ESTATE DOWNTURN??

Yes, it's true. The sheer number of us Realtors that fall by the wayside on a normal daily basis is astronomical. Agents are dropping like flies.

The top 5% of the nations Realtors make up 80% of the nations Real Estate Business.  You've heard the old adage: It takes money to make money??? Well, this is where it applies.

Except, with these phenomenal media exposure tools called Active Rain and Localism.

Are you taking advantage of it? I have discovered that whatever I say on Active Rain is actually READ!

Like wow.

Do you read the Sunday paper one liner ads for all your competitors? No, but you are reading this.

It is a proven fact that 20% of our effort generates 80% of our income.

What 20% of our effort is that you ask? It is your branding and advertising?

Again, it is your branding and advertising.

When you compare the cost of the traditional form of newspaper and print advertising vs. our new medium of online advertising, it has become ultimately more affordable and we reach so much further into our cybersphere.

Join a community, give us your input and watch yourself climb the Google Ladder!

Active Rain and Localism is free and e z.

Love it, learn it, live it. Find success.

Later in the rain~Deb

I think the Localism is a great tool, that is only going to get better.   I've also met a lot of new people while working on the Localism posts.   Localism not only gets our name out their, but it allows us to serve as ambassadors for our area's and for our state.  Great post.

So true - Iam not sure my career would have taken off as it had if it were not for a strong emphasis on self-promo that I consistently ran. And, definitely brand helps! Good points! Great Post!
