Just starting this blogging thing, I have struggled to find my passion and focus on what to blog on! Finally I realized, I have been in Virginia Beach for 31 of my 33 years of live, the first couple were all they way in Norfolk!! Thanks Mom and Dad for being stable! I am here in my family room early on Sunday morning thinking...no open house scheduled today! Where are we going with the kids today. Wow, right there I realized that I live in the most awesome place with my husband and kids, Tyler 6 and Mollie 2.
Last week, I took the kids to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, a wonderful place for flower enthusiast! What? How about a PERFECT place for KIDS!!! Fountains to play in, crazy statues and sculptures to laugh at. A train to ride! Perfect spot for a picnic, our favorite way to eat! Outside, messy, no rules! The Kid Wonder Garden does have flowers, but it also has DIRT to play in, Watering Cans to fill with a real old fashion Hand Pump then you can dump it on your sister or mom! Huge bronze frogs that squirt water. (at your sister if you can get her to stand in the right place!) Did I mention it cost $7.00 for the family to enter! I had a coupon for buy one get one free!
