Robert Ryder is a huge fan of South Lake Charles Little League.  So much so that he felt inspired to paint his bald head with "SW" and "15" (Kennon Fontenot's number).

Dugout, the mascot for the World Series, is shown here kissing Robert's head!

I spoke with Robert via cell phone during last night's game and could hardly hear him as the crowd was going crazy.

Judi, he is truly a funny guy!  On a serious note, the reason that his head is shaved in the first place is that he shaved his at the same time he shaved his wife's head due to the effects of chemotherapy.  The joke was that Stepanie looked better bald than Robert!  The good news is that she recently learned she is cancer free and her hair has grown back.

MK,  I hope I get to meet them in person one day.  Thanks to you and Derenda I'm getting re-acquainted with my home town through your blogs.  And meeting some of the folks I didn't know when I was growing up there and getting re-acquainted with some old friends.  :)

I'm so glad Stephanie is cancer free and her hair has grown back.
