Thanks Beth - I joined early March and I've already made a referral to a realtor out of my area through Active Rain and now I received this one...and the best part is it's available to everyone - FREE with sweat equity (smile) Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

If you want to do a test - type into google "island estate homes" - (without quotes?) You will see Jack's or my post as #1 on first page of google and we've only been active a little over 1 month. This is the premier waterfront boating neighborhood in clearwater beach. I can tell you we pay hundreds for pay-per-clicks and so this is just one small example of the power of AR and localism. If you want any help or tips I'm happy to share what I've learned. I just did a post about the 10 people who have helped me the most - check it out: After 40 days & 40 nights as a Newbie - PAPAYA pays off! YEAH!

Cyndee - congratulations on your success! When you said you checked your AR email, did the referral come in your regular email or are there AR email accounts that I haven't found out about yet?

When someone comments it goes to the email you desginated when you signed up. But it also shows up when I got to "my home" it shows a comment was posted - if they name on the comment doesn't have an underline under it then that person is not a member of the AR community - they came from the general public. Does that help? Tell you what I'll do - I'm going to send you an email via Active Rain "email me" and you let me know that you got it ok?
