Have you ever wondered why Metro Atlanta is so pretty? I think it's pretty because of all the green, the natural color that comes from trees, shrubs, and grass. There are many different shades of green and in the fall they become a kaleidoscope of reds, orange and yellows. In the spring we watch all the trees leaf, shrub bloom with wonderful pinks, whites, purples and more, and the grass lays its carpet of green. We are blessed with a bountiful tree canopy that keeps our city green all year, thanks to the pines and evergreens. From all directions we have this outstanding vista.
I was reminded this week just how lucky we are while driving through a city with no trees. After topping a small hill, all I could see was roof tops, home after home. I immediately thought of beautiful green Atlanta and what a wonderful place it is to live.
