Previewing homes and getting clients in the process.

This month, I will be closing two transactions that are the direct result of my expressing disbelief regarding the price of a home that I previewed.

In both cases, the homes purchased were miles away of the "TOPIC" home that I made mention of during a conversation.

One home is 15 miles or so from the home I saw. It is larger than the mentioned home, has a pool and is $50,000 more that what I had seen.

The other, magically fit what they were looking for even though it wasn't what originally fit the search criteria.

In both cases I have very excited homebuyers looking forward to a move. Their decision to purchase a home had much to do with the results of my previewing homes. I get to feel out the market and help people buy or sell in the process.

market knowledge was always help us when the day ... I try and preview 5 homes a week .

I think this is great. It is nice to see people actualy doing work. So many sit at the desk and wait to have the phone ring. Many of the buyers that I have spoken to over the years state the realtor added very little value in finding the home that they ended up deciding on. So looks like your the exception not the rule and that is a great thing in todays market. Congrats

Eric - That's awesome! It does serve as a much better use of time than hiding behind "going to the office"

Zenith - It's pretty fun, too. I've run into neighbors, investors, people at the gas station, etc. and they make for good conversation. There's a whole other world out there.
