What is Bay Lake Ranch?  Bay Lake Ranch is an equestrian community, located on the east side of St. Cloud, Florida situated between Kissimmee/Disney to the West, and Harmony /Melbourne to the East. It is just over 5 miles to Hwy 15 (Narcoossee Rd) which runs north and south to the Orlando International Airport and Orlando.

  Bay Lake Ranch was originally a development David Siegel (Westgate Resorts) planned on building. 

 The model home was a modest ranch constructed in 1981 set on two lush acres.  Basically a frame farm house, the converted garage was the sales center.

  The community features lovely custom built homes on lots ranging from one acre to over 10 acres. 

   The average price for a lot today is in the $80,000 range.  The average price for a existing home is $360,000.

However Wild Boars have been seen in the undeveloped sections of Bay Lake Ranch.

The development encompasses over 5  miles and abbuts Bay Lake although the lots are vastly separated, there is a sense of community here particular during the annual Hay Ride in October.

STATE OF THE ART SCHOOLS

In addition to the fine homes featured in Bay Lake Ranch, the schools offer bus transportation to Elementary, Middle and High School. 

The brand New Harmony Community School opened on August 9th, 2008 is a state of the art facility.  Operated by the Osceola County School District, this is the newest Elementary School and the only one of its kind.  Classrooms are equipped with Smart Boards (interactive computerized touch screen white boards) found most commonly on University Campuses.   Built in ceiling speakers and usage of microphones allow the teachers to be heard in every part of the classroom. 

Located seven miles to the east, is Harmony High School.  A newer facility, is home to students in the 9th-12th grades.

Valencia Community College is 11 miles to the West.  The Lake Nona Medical Complex and School of nursing is located less than 20 miles to the North.
