For the past couple of years I have been throwing around the idea of having a customer appreciation party in the summer.  Of course, work and life would always get in the way and the idea would be put off for yet another year.  However, this year was different!  I was finally determined to execute our plan and thank our customers with a summer party.

This past Wednesday at the Brookside Racquet and Swim Club we had our first annual customer appreciation party.  The party was complete with a characature artist, face painter and magician for the kids, and plenty of food and drink for everyone.

Everyone from friends and family to current and previous clients came with their kids and everyone had a great time.  This is a great idea and I am very happy that Dawn and I finally got it together and thanked our customers for the great business they have given us.

Has anyone else ever had a customer appreciation party?  I'm curious to find out what other realtors do to thank their clients.

Hi Sal, we are planning our first one for later this fall, after hurricane season!  Any advice after your first?  Sounds like it went great.  Excellent idea, good luck with your next one.

Denise - Fortunately, we don't have to worry about hurricanes up here in northern New Jersey!  I wish you all the best with your party.  Some advice I would give would be to have activities for the kids.  The entertainment (magician, face painter, etc.) kept the kids busy and they loved it!  We also had a lake nearby where the kids could go swimming.  Another great idea during the summer!

WE had one for the ladies who have referred business our way.  When the new Sex and the City movie came out we met for Muffins and Mimosas and then had a bus pick us up to take us off to the movie.  They all loved it and it was well worth the $ spent from the referrals we recieved.

Hey Sal...when you invited me to come to NJ from Long Island, you said it was a Client and Coach appreciation day...

The party was well worth the long ride...we had a great time, food and company alike was delicious.  Michael (husband) and I have our first characature together and it is now on the wall.

All the kids had a great time with the face painting, magician, even a sports coach to involve them in some fun games, not to mention the most unusual "pool" I've ever seen...it was a beach!  Right there in the middle of the neighborhood!  How Clever!

Next time...I'll bring the wine.

P.S....going to report on the Buffet concert next week?
