100 Things you should know about Brian Wray

•1)      I am married to a Wonderful Lady named Kirsten.

•2)      I have a beautiful daughter named Isabella, age 4.

•3)      I am 34 Years old -well as of September 29^th, I will be.

•4)      I attend Church Alive in Fuquay Varina, NC - (www.ChurchAliveAG.org).

•5)      I grew up in the Triangle Area and have lived here my whole life outside of College.

•6)      I currently live in Fuquay Varina, NC. Just south of Raleigh, NC.

•7)      I have lived in Raleigh, NC; Cary, NC; Apex, NC; Garner, NC, Greenville, NC, and Cullowhee, NC

•8)      I went to Garner Senior High School, North and East Garner Middle Schools, Vance and Fred A. Smith Elementary schools in Garner and Raleigh, NC.

•9)      I have attended three universities:  NC State University, Western Carolina University, and Finally East Carolina University.  I could not make up my mind where I wanted to be.

•10)   I finally graduated from East Carolina University in 1997.

•11)   I took the five year, three school, multi-major program, and finally got a degree in Architecture and Mechanical Design... The same one I started out with.  Long Stories, but if you have the time, I would be happy to explain.

•12)   I graduated Top of My Design Class with the Outstanding Senior Award.

•13)   I got a Minor in Business, Mathematics, and Construction Management.

•14)   I Love the sport of Soccer - I started playing at the age of 4 yrs old.

•15)   I played soccer in High School and at the Junior ODP level.

•16)   I have had six knee surgeries on my left knee.

•17)   I can still walk...Thank the Lord.

•18)   I am now a Golfer, and Love it.  I do not play as much as I would like, but I still love it.

•19)   I started a Real Estate Company in 2003 - Wray Realty

•20)   I currently have 6 agents working with me through the triangle area.

•21)   Before Real Estate I worked in the Telecom Industry for Sprint, Cisco Systems, 4Front (NWN), and Spanlink.

•22)   I was a VoIP Engineer and Sales professional for nearly 9 years.

•23)   I am a member of the Fuquay Varina, NC Chamber of Commerce.

•24)   I am a Member of the Capital City Club, in Raleigh, NC

•25)   Before we had my our Daughter, my wife and I enjoyed traveling

•26)   We have travelled to many states, HI, CA, NY, FL, GA, TX, MA, NJ, VA, MN, SC, AL, NC, and NV.

•27)   We have also travelled internationally to Cozumel, Mexico; the Bahamas; Toronto, Canada; London, England, Edinburough, Scotland; Paris, France; Brussels, Belgium; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

•28)   Once our Daughter gets older we want to travel with her to Italy, German, and Israel, as well as other states in the USA.

•29)   I also own a Building Company, P and W Building Company. We are a Custom Home Builder.  My Partner is Joey Pender

•30)   I also owned a marketing company, Christian Companies Network at one time.

•31)   I use to be a Licensed Loan Officer.  This was for my personal education so I could talk with my clients better about the mortgage process.  I originated about 35 loans in my first year.

•32)   I have additional training in the real estate industry as well.  I have been through the training of Accredited Buyers Representative, Accredited Sellers Representative, Senior Real Estate Specialist, E-Pro, Community Specialist, Luxury Real Estate Broker, #1 Expert Training, Value Add Realtor Training.

•33)   I am the owner and Broker-in-Charge of Wray Realty

•34)   I have also passed the Licensing exam for NC Insurance Licenses.  Again something I just wanted to learn

•35)   I am an avid reader.  I love reading books.  They have to be practical books though.  I am not a big fan of Fiction.  I am into Business, Real Estate, Faith, and other practical type books.

•36)   I am a late nighter.  I like to stay up until 12:00am - 1:00am.

•37)   I am also a sleeper.  I like to sleep..lf I can until 9:00am.  Our whole house are sleepers.

•38)   I have had the change to watch Arnold Palmer Play Golf, as well as Fred Couples.

•39)   I also got their Autographs

•40)   I had the pleasure to play the Blue Monster - Doral - where the ford championship is held every year.  I shot an 86.

•41)   I also had the pleasure to play Pinehurst #2 where the US Open Golf tournament has been held a number of times and shot an 85.

•42)   I have played over 45 golf courses at Myrtle Beach, and with my annual golf trip plan to keep playing more.

•43)   I went to the David Letterman show while in NYC.

•44)   While in NYC, my wife and I stayed at the prestigious Plaza Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

•45)   We saw Les Miserable' and Lion King on Broadway.

•46)   We saw Blueman Group perform in Las Vegas.

•47)   We saw Stomp perform in Boston.

•48)   I have been deep sea fishing twice, but found out I am not a big fan of it.

•49)   I high school, I play a number of sports.  1) Soccer - my favorite 2) Football - Kicker 3) Tennis, 6^th rank on the team 4) Beach Volley Ball.

•50)   I have seen the Dallas Cowboys play in Dallas Stadium

•51)   Went Snorkeling in the Bahamas, Coco Bay, and Hawaii.  Swam with Barracuda and Shark in these waters.

•52)   I have been to Louvre' Museum in Paris France

•53)   I have been to the top of the Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building, the Ball in the Dallas Sky Line, and the CN Tower in Toronto.  Other places as well, but not as prestigious.

•54)   Saw Siegfried and Roy Perform in Las Vegas....Waste of Time and Money.

•55)   Saw the Hover Dam and the Lake

•56)   Took a Helicopter Ride in to the Grand Canyon and Had Lunch at the Bottom by the Colorado River.

•57)   Saw the Site of the Train Crash from the movie the Fugitive with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones.

•58)   Rode the Euro Star Train at 181 MPH in London to Paris and went into the Chunnel.

•59)   Saw Notre Dame and the Arc De' Triumph in Paris

•60)   Hired a Private Tour Guide in Sao Paulo Brazil to take me around the town and the beaches.

•61)   Played Golf at one of only three golf courses around Sao Paulo.  Thought I was going to die getting there.

•62)   I studied Tae Kwon Do and Muay Tai Kickboxing in high school and Early College.  The six knee surgeries put an end to all of that kicking.

•63)   I heard the Royal London Band play Abba's "Dancing Queen" at the gates of Buckingham Palace.

•64)   I ate Humus at a Traditional Scottish Pub

•65)   I ate Fish and Chips at a Traditional London Pub.

•66)   Took Wine Tasting classes in Carmel/Monterey California. 

•67)   I love a good Wine... Red or White

•68)   Drank a REAL Heineken at the factory in Amsterdam.

•69)   Bought my Wife a Hand Picked and Hand Cut Diamond from the Diamond Mines in the Netherlands.

•70)   I love the show "So You Think Can Dance".  This shows truly talented dancers.

•71)   I have slept under the stars at Bear Lake near Sylva, NC, and hiked off the Blue Ridge Parkway. 

•72)   I have been in the REAL Hot Springs, in the NC mountain town of Hot Springs, NC.  Amazingly relaxing.

•73)   Love going to Busch Gardens with my Family

•74)   Love going to the Water Park with my Family.  This is my Daughters Favorite.

•75)   I was a Production Assistant for the MISS NC Beauty Pageant.

•76)   Whale watched off the coast of Hawaii on Sunset Beach

•77)   I am a huge Ultimate Fighting Fan.

•78)   I grew up on a small farm.

•79)   We had chickens, goats, and cows.  We had a "Pet" Bull, named Rambo!!  True story!  Now my Dad still has Goats and Horses.

•80)   We had a Goat named "Billy". Original I know.

•81)   At one time we had 24 dogs and 36 cats.  Those darn things kept having babies!!

•82)   I have built barns and put fences up on over 100 acres of land.

•83)   I have worked in the Tobacco Fields and Wheat Fields.  Hard work never hurt anyone.

•84)   I have taken apart engines and put them back together.  Now I know why they charge so much.

•85)   I have worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, and do not want to do it again.

•86)   I have designed over 40 custom home plans and all of them have been built.

•87)   I have commented on four books in production, two Technology focused and Two Sales Focused.

•88)   I have been a featured writer for a Local News Paper.

•89)   My Wife is a classical Trained Flute Player and has played with the NC Symphony, and I enjoy watching her play so much.  It makes me very happy to see her put her talents to great use.

•90)   My Wife and I enjoy going to Concerts as well.  We have seen John Mayer, Norah Jones, Janet Jackson, Hootie and the Blow Fish, Dave Mathews, Gavin Degree, Aril Levine (Free Concert, but actually very good), Yana, Phil Collins, Toby Mac, Third Day, Sonic Flood, Mercy Me, and many many more, but my Favorite has to be Prince...Yes Prince.  What a great show!!

•91)   I have presented to the likes of the CEO's of Ford, Boeing, Bell Canada, HSBC, Bank of America, Lowes, BTI, etc.

•92)   I am Blessed.

•93)   I have taken two cruises, and loved it both times.

•94)   My favorite Meal is a great Filet Minion with Oscar, Potatoes, Carrots and a Great Red Wine!!

•95)   I also Love a good Meat Lovers Pizza, and Cheese Hot Dogs from Oscar Meyer!!

•96)   I was held up by the Military Police in the Brazilian airport.  The was cause by the Pilots Flipping of the Security Cameras.  I was behind them in the checkout line, so they grabbed me as well.

•97)   My Wedding day and The Birth of My Daughter were two of the happiest Days of my Life.

•98)   I have toured the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam

•99)   I have toured and rode on the Track at the Daytona 500.

•100)  I LOVE REAL ESTATE!!!

•101)      I believe a handshake and your word should be enough.

•102)      I believe if a person makes a mistake, they should ask for forgiveness, and then make it right!

•103)      I believe a person should live by the Golden Rule.. do unto others as you would have them do unto you... or maybe even take it further and.. do unto others as you would have them do unto your child or your mother.

•104)      I believe all people are good people until they prove otherwise, but it is ok to be cautious.

•105)      I believe respect is earned and not an entitled right.
