How can I, as a professional property inspector, get Realtors to notice me?

By
Home Inspector with Redi-Pro

In the home inspection industry, referrals from Realtors is the key to a successful business. Even with credentials, certifications, college degrees and decades as a trained professional in residential and commercial construction industry, getting the opportunity to introduce yourself is next to impossible. I know time is money, so is my time. Does anyone have a good strategy for us?

I had a home inspector e-mail me a monthly news letter and I tried him out and now use him a lot; maybe it is something you could try.

Thanks, Ray

Thanks Ray, We had thought of this but didn't think it would be professional to start sending unsolicited emails. We may have to revisit that decision.

Does your local board have meetings you can attend? We have weekly meetings here in the Jacksonville Beach, FL area, and allow affiliate members to join and attend. Many of us go on caravan after, and ride together, and that's a great way to build relationships with the Realtors.
