As Realtors I would like your opinions.

I know that alot of you see us, home inspectors, spending alot of time 'peeing' on each other.

  1. Has licensing helped in your state?
  2. If no licensing whould you like it?
  3. Should certification require a proctored test?
  4. I know that there are more questions to be asked but I whated to start somewhere.

If you want to list a bad experience fine. This is NOT to start a discussion on any home inspection organization!

There are some of us that would like to be recognized as being professionals.

Licensing is a filtering tool.

It is not foolproof.

You are absolutely correct.

But it is a starting point.

It is like any test. If you are too stupiid to write your name on the correct line you should fail.

YES just because I passed a test does NOT make me qualified, but it does show that I took the time to try.
