We love to hear about new ideas for producing unique flyers/brochures.  We are always seeking fresh approaches for our "product."  We tend to use flyers that are quite traditional in look with multiple pictures, MLS numbers, bullet points for outstanding features and of course the usual contact info.  Would love to have a more contemporary look.  Would you be willing to share with me and others your thoughts and ideas on the subject?

Thanks in advance,

Carole Lhuillier

My flyers are in PDF format so I can't upload them :(

I use adobe cs2 (working on getting 3).  I fit the image of the exterior of the property in the background and I make it transparent to 35%.  I then (sometimes) add interior pics in the four corners.  I write in the middle, over the main image

  • Address
  • x bedrooms
  • xxxx square feet
  • for more information, pictures and current pricing go to www.ReneeBurrows.com/5410 (an example of a single prop site I set up for the property)

Then at the bottom

I have websites for the services I offer

  • For more info on Rentals go to:
  • For more info on New Construction go to:
  • For more info on this COmmunity go to:

Underneath that:

More properties you may be interested in:

4 BRS Rhodes Ranch REO $300k www<dot>ReneeBurrows<dot>com/whateversiteis

And so on and so forth.

My main focus is that the buyer is NOT going to buy that house but I try to offer them EVERYTHING POSSIBLE on that flyer, something they may be interested in <AND> driving traffic to my website.  That way the lead isn't totally lost if they aren't ready yet, they use my website as a resource.

Hope that helps!  If you want to see a copy of the flyer in PDF just email me!

Good point, Renee.  The buyer is most likely NOT going to buy that house so your approach is a really good one.  I'll email you.  Thanks, Carole

Two different sources to check out.  First, for printed flyers and post cards with unique designs and great prices is WebUSMail and secondly, for single property domains or a web site for a property that is an online flyer -- try ListingProducer.

Scott. thanks for the ideas.  I'll check it out and I'm sure others will, too.  Has anyone else ever used either of these??

Both Vflyer and Postlets offer print versions of their flyers, and they both have different themes.

Also, if you're using Publisher by Microsoft Office, they have various templates included with the software, and you can also download other templates specific to real estate from Microsoft.com.

Finally, there are companies who sell such packages. Prospects Plus is one such company that offers several examples of brochures, flyers, postcards.

These are "traditional" resources, but their templates are quite good.

Good luck.

Hi Carole!  I am glad you asked this question.  I have recently had new marketing materials prepared, and I have "blank" flyers that have my branded image on them.  I will be overprinting the specific listing information and although I can put something together on my own, if anyone has a suggestion of something I could use that would be a little more professional I would like to see what it available out there.

Scott,

Checked out ListingProducer and it is quite cool.  I am going to give this a try on a few properties and see how it is received.  Thanks for the tip.

I did a search on flyers as I'm in the process of revamping all of mine to give them a more consistent look.  One of the things I did while on vacation in another state was visit high end offices to see what their flyers look like and what information they use.  While the properties and the feel are different (we have condos, they have homes), it was really helpful in determining how I'd like to structure and lay out my fliers.
