Urban Meets Ocean- The Market Commons in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (LOCALISM FEATURED)

The Market Commons is one of the hottest and newest things in Myrtle Beach. It is located on Myrtle Beach's former air force base.

Nestled on 114 acres, The Market Commons features some of the finest retail shops & Restaurants along the Grand Strand. Some of these wonderful stores include Barnes & Noble, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Tommy Bahama and many more. Also, there are wonderful dining establishments like P.F. Chang's & Gordon Biersch Brewery.

In addition to all the wonderful restaurants & shops, there are other great things to do including several bike & walking trails, a movie theater and much more.

Nice localism post Jeremy. The Gordon Biersch Brewery looks great! Now you have to go eat there and submit a review. It's all in the name of being a good neighbor, right?

Jeremy, this looks like my kind of place! I have yet to visit your beautiful area and I have lived in NC for over 3 years. When I do plan a visit I will call you for advice on where to stay...this will be on my list too!

Diane- you can actually stay here if you wish...they have rentals here too from what I have read.
