Hi all,

I am glad to have found the Piedmont Triad AR group! My company, Self-Help, is currently building and selling affordable, energy efficient new construction homes in the Ole Asheboro neighborhood in Greensboro. If you would like more information on the homes we currently have available, visit our site.

Now, on to the reason for my post. I'm researching the High Point real estate market, and would love to have some insight from any agents currently working in that market. How are sales this year, new construction vs. existing homes? What types of homes (price range, housing type, location) are selling? Is there an overall feeling, positive or negative, among real estate professionals about the market?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi Tamara,

Welcome to the group.  I'm not really familiar with how the homes are selling in High Point, but I do do home staging and I'm staging one in High Point for the Fall Parade of Homes.  If you ever need a home staged, please keep me in mind.  Thanks and good luck.

Welcome to our group Tamara.  I hope you find the group useful.  If I can be of assistance to you in any way please feel free to call on me.  I have spent the last 7 years in the mortgage industry and have just move to the Debt Management industry.  AR is a great tool for business.  The last I heard the market here in High Point was pretty stable.  New home sales are down a bit but existing home sales are doing okay.  July 08 saw a slight decline in values over July 07 but year to day we are up a couple of points on values over last year.  Hope this is a little helpful and again, welcome to our group.
