Yet ANOTHER blatant THEFT!

OK, this has gone WAY too far. Earlier Kristal reported obvious theft of her AR content.

Well yesterday, I noticed this post:

Having commented on a STRIKINGLY SIMILAR post the day before, I thought it was quite odd. So I go back and find Michael's post was not just strikingly similar, IT WAS AN EXACT DUPLICATE. Down to the puncuation marks.

I left a comment to the effect that duplicate content was a no-no. Michael simply decided to delete my comment RATHER THAN DELETE THE POST HE STOLE.

Well, Michael, delete this...

He also happens to be in Scottsdale, AZ.... Hmmmm. That's awful close to home. How much is "word of mouth" worth to a "trusted mortgage advisor"?

I *highly* suggest an apology to Kristal, Donna, Matt, Caleb, Ben, anyone else you stole content from, and the entire AR community. Of course I can't force you to apologize, but you should. Man up and do the right thing Mike.

I can't force you to apologize, just like you can't force me to stop telling people about your ethics and morals. And trust me, I know a LOT of real estate agents in the Phoenix area.

Way to keep an eye out...stealing is stealing whether its money or an idea.

El stupido!!!! Stealing and then posting on the same site. This is mind boggling. I assume Michael will be booted out once Matt get's back from his getaway.

I think Mike is going to get his hiney whipped for sure now...he has been caught 2 times for plagrism...... and a BAD attitude....

Jay and Francy, thanks for bringing this item (and Kristal) to all of our attention. I don't see what can be gained by doing something like this, so I'll just continue to shake my head!!

The fact is this group is so damn strong that an like this doesn`t ruin the mix.. This is the best of the best!

He's from Scottsdale, AZ? Isn't that where Alice Held is from? I recall her excellent website as one of the first I heard about that was duplicated by one of her local competitors a few years ago. Plagiarism didn't go over well back then, either.

Nima the mortgage guy doesn't seem to think much of his fellow mortgage bankers either. ;-)

And of course plagarism has been around from day 1 on AR as well as other places.

Stupid...just stupid. Obviously the guy hasn't any unique or original ideas.

Hey, can they give minus 10,000 points? That would take care of him. Or should we ask that copycats be demoted by a minus 100,000 points!

In the name of full disclosure, I must say that Michael sent me an email today apologizing and saying he was sorry for the trouble he caused.

I'll give him credit for that, it probably wasn't easy. The damage to his reputation will be more difficult to repair though.

The sad thing is, all it would have taken when it was first pointed out was an "Opps, I'm sorry. It won't happen again." And that would have been the end of it.

Funny thing is, that both Donna and Michael are guilt of plagerism here. This is a spammed email message that is actually a hoax that has been going around for some time. Take any of the text and search it in google with quotes arounf the phrase... you'll see it in many locations.

AR is a blogging platform. Before making any claims, I urge everyone to have done their research: 1. Are you reporting the truth and 2. Are you stealing other peoples work or ideas?
