I don't know about you but staging occupied properties are too far and few between.  Mostly my stagings are vacants, but every now and then, I have the sheer delight in transforming a space and being at the mercy of the homeowner's furnishings.

I had so much fun - this was great as it challenged me and made me use more than the typical creativity of doing a vacant staging.

The walls were painted and the carpeting (I'm not sure if you can tell, the original was a rose color) was changed as well.

The Family Room Before - rose colored rug                   After - new paint and carpet

The Dining Room Before - used as a gym                 After - reappointed back to a formal DR

Bathroom before - bathroom suite after

The wonder of paint and upscale bedding...

I love doing occupied homes.  Such fun to find what is already there and make it into something else!

Lovely - I know I love occupied's too. My team doesn't. Sometimes we find the oddest things, but I get such satisfaction of taking what they have, added a few things and making it gorgeous! Great job. Kym

Marcyne,

Great work on this occupied!  I love the transformation of the bedroom.  Was that the Master Bedroom with a nursery mural painted on it?  I think I have seen it all now! :)

Vicki, only if we can get more of these occupieds.

Kathleen, I know occupieds can be challenging which is why I think I like them more.  Vacants can get boring, in terms of put a sofa there, plant here, that there, etc.  Call me crazy, but I like to get projects where I am having to find a certain type of furniture for a particular house if it has a problematic or a layout w/"concerns."

Kym, let's put the energy out there "let us get more occupieds...."

Michelle, luckily that wasn't the master bedroom but the poor teenage boys had to live w/that til they went to college.  They are very well adjusted and were a delight to work with, which goes to show you, no matter how we think as parents, we affect their being by not having done this or that (oh the guilt), in the end, they turn out they way they were supposed to.  I say that very tongue and cheek of course. Marcyne ~ You did a wonderful job on this home. I just love it when they put a fresh color on the walls and some fresh carpet, you can make any room looks so much better. It is so much fun to go shopping in all the different rooms to create new looks in others. Congratulations on a job well done.
