Equitypointe not paying on BPOs?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty DRE# 01202881

Quick question -- Does anyone have problems with Equitypointe not paying for BPOs? We just went through our first quarter losses and there were 26 BPOs done for Equitypointe that we don't have a record for payment from. Before I go after them, I wanted to ask for feedback on their payment practices. Thanks much!

Make sure that they have your W-9 on file and active, otherwise they will contact you for that. Otherwise I have had no problem with Equitypointe.

Are these through a platform or were these ones they sent out directly around March?

The direct ones took awhile (not long enough for me to worry though) but we did get paid.

The ones through a platform come like clock work.

If they were direct, like the above poster said, make sure they have your W-9.

Hope this helps!

They are notorious no pays. You will have to be very forceful to get paid. Almost no one will do bpo's for them because of it.

I did a few for them earlier in the year through a platform and did get paid within 30 days.

Those are pretty strong words considering the countless agents BEGGING to do BPOs for any company.  Did you complete these supposeive BPOs on REOTrans or Quandis?

John Walker... If you are intersted in doing REO business with Equity Pointe you need to make sure that you are approved through Citi to use their OMS system, have a profile with Res.Net, and have FNMA software.  Different clients work off of different platforms even through Equity Pointe.

I have done a few for EquityPointe and you have to make sure your w-9 is on file otherwise they won't pay you until it is done.

Agent Who Reads Directions

They only pay slow if you dont pay attention and send your info to the correct spot. People who are mad are usually just bad agents who dont ever read e-mails. They just do what they want, I do a ton of work and get paid great

Has anyone done BPO's or REO's for REO TRANS?  They charge high fees to be affiliated with them, I made the mistake of signing up but it seems to me that it may be a scam because when I get notices that BPO's are available, I immedately sign in and there is nothing there, it does not even says it was accepted by another agent.  A few hours later it will show up as assigned to another agent.   For months I have not been able to get anything.    I see Ms. Chung getting all their REO's and some other agents, like Mr. Legaspi.  The same agents all the time.  Agents be carful with REO TRANS!  I really think it is a scam I paid around $450 for one year plus monthly fees to buy zip codes.  I wonder how many agents paid for nothing.

Janice, I'm having that same problem with REOTrans. I have been leaving the window open and even when I get an email saying a BPO order is in, as soon as I switch to the BPO order page it's already been accepted, sometimes within the same minute that it was posted to REOTrans...

Some agents are using auto-accept software to accept orders which means you are not quick to acxcept orders. I have the same problen with Mark to Market.. Some companies are shutting down agents using auto-accept software but many companies are allowing it. Not an even playing field is it?
