Change is difficult but often essential for survival. Nothing ever stays the same.

To feel the exhilaration of victory, you must accept challenges - get out of your comfort zone.

A shortcut doesn't always get you to where you want to be. You get what you give sometimes.

Sometimes the ability to start over has more validity that the ability to persist.

Imagination and common sense, not simple knowledge, are often true signs of intelligence.

If you want to stand out, do something outstanding.

How you respond to life's tough choices may be more important than "what happens to you."

Trust your heart, but don't forget that God gave you a brain.

Hi, Lisa--well, sometimes we get so caught up in the moment that we forget some of the basics. Take Care!

Hi Stacy, as a former educator I stressed "life-long learning" constantly.  That concept continues to be important in all we do.  Times do change, rules change, our environment changes, as does the way we do business.  We continue to learn new skills, new concepts, new approaches, etc.  We often find ourselves in a situation where we must adapt in order to be effective.  This is another of life's circumstances that further stresses the importance of "life-long learning."

Jon- Very true, the only thing that you can really count on is -- change..

Change is GOOD.  That's what separates the go-getters from the potato couches.  As long as things continue to change and I keep up with change, then those competitors that don't follow fall farther behind me and I rise up the ladder.

The view is better towards the top.

David - that's exactly right. Especially this last year, with all of the new changes on tap for the title industry. We were amazed at how many title companies were "the last to know" about the changes that we were already implementing.

David, well, with Jennie, (my VP) being president of the Arkansas Land Title Association this year, plus she's on their Board, too, and heavily involved with the Education Committee, that really helped us know first about a lot of the changes, new laws, etc.

That's GREAT!!  Glad to know that!  I refer everyone to you always because you ARE the absolute best.  No one does as good a job....some close but never as good.
