Home Inspector with BeSure Home Inspection Service

NACHI providing service and training world wide.

After nearly a year in preparation by NACHI's Deanna Willis, the Chinese government meets with NACHI regarding home inspections.    The Chinese delegation from Hubei, China (near the Yangtze River) from the government offices of Hubei Provincial Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspections (HBQSI) traveled to the U.S. under a special invitation from NACHI.  NACHI, which has had members performing inspections in Hong Kong for many years, has been helping the Chinese government with inspection and construction quality control issues.  NACHI was represented by member Bill Merrell of the Merrell Institute (position in picture unnecessary) who was honored with the Yellow Crane Tower Plaque for his assistance.

Glad to hear that NACHI is making inroads with a Communist country, next it will be Venezuela! Sorry not the type of news I would be very proud to publish, or to be associated with.

Jennifer,  that is great that you have found a good inspector they are hard to find at times.  You also list a great ASHI and GAHI home inspector on your site as well.  Glad to see that you are promoting the best for your clients.

Scott, I am sorry to see your lack of interest in ANY org that makes strides to educate any one concerning the Home Inspection Industry. I support NACHI not only as a member, but I support NACHI because of their relentless work in the Home Inspection Industry. Heck I have even supported your Org ASHI when it came to the Home Inspection Industries and Standards. But thanks for your post and your thoughts.

Evidently you don't know me or you would know that I work for the betterment of our profession and not only with my society.  I guess I kind of have a hard time supporting any group that works with Communist China, even though they have purchased a vast majority of the US debt. I lost many friends to them in Vietnam, its kind of a hard thing to get over.  Bet it gets better with time.

Mark, I'm curious as to how long you have been in the home inspection profession if you don't mind me asking.

Scott, You are right, I do not know you, but I would like to meet you some time. I am always open to meeting with people who are interested in making the Home Inspection Industry a better Industry. I do not want to get into politics so I will not go there on this topic. I also lost friends and family to Vietnam. As to how long I have been in the Home Inspection Field? 4 years since I retired from the State of Ohio. Does that matter? I have over 10+ years in general construction, as a labor and supervisor. I also took it upon myself to better myself and go to a state accredited Home inspection school. I wanted to make sure I knew what I really needed to correctly preform a Residential and Commercial inspections. Does that count? I am always reading and taking CE education coarse to better myself even when I really do not need any more for my required 24 hours CE to maintain my NACHI membership. And to end, I have over 200 inspections to my BeSure Home Inspection Service company name with out any complaints or law suits. I am glad to see that at least China is taking steps to provide their people with some type of Home Inspection standards. That is better than saying this is how it is and yes it is the wrong way, but that is how it is and you will like it.

NACHI is a big money maker and are in the business for that reason only. The education level is for a know nothing inspector. They own 1,000's of sites to upscale them as an org. who cares when in reality its all about the green.. Do the other propfessional Org do that?
