Home Staging Hooker

Home staging hell happened in Atlanta when a ‘stager' was found to be conducting a business within a business right from the home she had ‘staged.' This story appealed to my rather ‘offbeat' sense of humor. I'm constantly fascinated by the creative ways in which people chose to make a living. This story takes the cake! I thought I'd share it with my fellow stagers........

I'm so glad that you put in the website link.

It's sad that it's a "STAGER" that's involved. What's the community to think of us.

What a hoot. I've heard of this scam before with property managers.

At least she could have made the house look good

I think we can all agree that this 'lady' was NO lady and NO stager. She wasn't even a home manager....

People never seem to stop amazing me with their stupidity.

I agree with Andy, and a crappy stager at that, the home was empty still.

lol I googled her, and went to the still up and running staging website. She has "the untold story" on her main page...

she writes more about the newscast not showing the staging, she doesnt mention about her "other job" and to me thats the bigger fish to fry.

It's usually Realtors who are pulling stunts like this.

I was always waiting for George on Seinfeld to do this on one of the episodes when he was a Realtor. It just seemed like it would be right up his alley.

very sad - our industry really doesn't need this!! Unfortunately the poor economy has desperate people doing desperate things.

I am more shocked at her physical condition and the "false advertising" on her escort site :)

Hi Andy... I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry at the stupidity or embarrassment of the situation! This is horrible and in either case does nothing good for the real estate or home staging business. This should be a good wake-up call to consumers to make sure that they are dealing with reputable businesses and to check references BEFORE signing anything. Wow!

Ardell - you're so right, this woman forgot to stage herself and we all know that how important that is!

I AM SHOCKED! What a slob. I wish we could see the next show on how they got her out of the house. I hope she ends up in jail along with the staging company.

Wow...I saw the word "Hooker" and "Slut" in the titles of 2 blogs. Thank goodness the kids aren't around!

OMG!!! That is an amazing story. What a farce, People never cease to amaze me..........
