And then DON'T DO IT!

(Opposite of "Just do it!")

How complex is your life?

How often are you overwhelmed by the sheer volume of "stuff to do"?

Do you ever just want to wad the "ToDo List" up and toss it without doing ANYTHING?

If any or all of the above, I believe that you might be in the grip of something my father has come to call Raplexity (Random Complexity) which is a compilation of "Life Happening"

What if you were to wake up each morning with the solemn promise to yourself that you were FIRST going to decide on one more thing NOT to do that day?

This may not mean that the thing doesn't get done. It could be that you delegate it or refer it . . . or you find a way to leverage technology to do it.

The GOAL is to simplify your business life to the point that "Work" no longer defines your day at the office . . . It is a CHOICE you make each day.

Interestingly when you "get" this premise, your personal life suddenly opens up to possibilities you never before imagined.

So . . .

Here is my challenge:

Wake up each day resolved to tackle the day with one less thing to do . . . and COMMITTED to concentrating FIRST on what REALLY matters . . . and stay with what matters the most for at LEAST 2 hours. This is where the Millionaire Real Estate Agent Energy Plan comes in . . . Take care of yourself first. Attend to Your Spiritual, Emotional, Mental, and Physical needs before diving into your "business mode" . . . and then tackle the MOST IMPORTANT business activity - LEAD GENERATE . . . EVERY DAY!

Know your limitations and decide to move on to another activity (away from Lead Generation) when you feel yourself losing focus and feeling fatigue. There is little value in continuing to make calls if you are not at the top of your game.

NOW . . . Take some time to Breathe . . . Perhaps a short walk or a nice lunch with a friend . . .

And return give your raplectic world the space it needs. This is the 80% stuff.

Have FUN!

After all, you've already had a great day . . . enjoy whatever comes at ya . . . and run EVERYTHING through the "Is this one of those things NOT to do?" filter as you're cruising along. I want you to streamline your time/task continuum such that you are so aerodynamic that you find yourself in a friction-free environment . . .

It is at that point that I would pin the medal on your chest announcing you as a Human "Complex Adaptive System" . . . Literally bulletproof to the never-ended onslaught of minutia.

As Gary Keller Says: "Don't let ANYONE else control your time"

It's all about choices and being INTENTIONAL . . .
