I've installed landscape paintings as banners across the tops of most of the pages in my website. I think they look good but whether they look professional or are appropriate is another question. I'd like some opinions please!

If you scroll through the top of the menu there are good ones and also in the GREEN BUILDING section near the bottom of the menu. If I get a positive response I'll install on the other 60 pages.

 Thank you

I clicked on the link twice but got an internet explore error message. I could not get the window to open. Sorry!

Ken...

I had to get in by way of your Profile page. There's something wrong with your link.

I think a Banner at the top adds interest but I also found it to be busy and not relly relating to the page topic.

Perhaps if you got some banners from Clip Art and used one that would relate to each page topic that would work and have a more streamlined look? And I think they should be narrower. You want them to accent the subject matter not detract!

Hope this is helpful! Good Luck

Yes Joan, I'm afraid that although they're interesting, they crowd the page and don't relate to the subject of the website. I'm trying to decide whether to toss them.

I liked it and thought it looked ok.  How's Boulder? I'm from the Thornton area originally.

Hi Kenton,

While teh banners are gorgeous, I think they are too much for your site.  Having the black header with "Buy Your New Home with Confidence" on each page is sufficent.

The more we simplify our websites, the more consumers seem to like them!

I like banners on the home page only.  I think that they tend to detract from other pages that are intended to provide information.  My personal preference only.  Nice website!!

Thanks for your help!. I've left a few scattered throughout the site but for the most part it was just too obtrusive and inappropriate.
