You should be very careful to find useful information.I search many renting houses website from the Internet to find out whether there is any suitable apartment beijing. But there are many bilkers which are known as "illegal agencies" and many real estate agencies. So you must be careful more and give them a call firstly .You can pay a visit to the house and the house-owner .You had better make sure the person who you meet is the real house-owner .You can request to see the house property certificate or renting bargain.It will help you a lot to protect yourself.

    Second, Go to the estate agencies.
If it is rather urgent or you are too busy to have time to find an apartment beijng by yourself, you should resort to agencies. Beijing has many agancies, such as I Love My Home, familytourbj and other ones. They can help you find a houses quickly as possible, but you must pay for it, usually one month rent. Most of the estate agencies are reliable,but some are deceptive.So you must be careful and choose those which have high public praise .

   Thirdly, You can notice and leave the messages which were pasted on residential area's call-board.
I walk through the buildings which were near my company or school and talk to the gatekeepers who are often retired and have a lot time to walk around their homes and talk about other people's things. I maybe can receive some information from them.But the most important thing is that I have to point out I am not an agency and I would like to hire the house for myself.If I leave the messages on the call-board I often write what my job is, in order to earn their trust. And I also have to leave my cell phone number on it .The rest is waiting.
