Eastside Costa Mesa Restaurant - Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant

If you are in the mood for Mexican food and are looking for the best place to eat it, go to Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant, located at 17th St. and Santa Ana Av.I have been going there for since I can remember, my wife and I had our wedding dinner there 17 and a half years ago. Any celebratory moment in our lives we go to Mi Casa. When our kids were babies a couple of time we left a bottle behind, they would wash it and have it waiting for us next time we came. This is just a sample of the type if service you get when eating there. The portions are huge, my wife and I can share a three item and still take some home. We usually order the "Theek" or ground sirloin, usually served with a cheese enchilada and rice and beans. Other good options are the taco which is absolutely huge and loaded. The restaurant used to be a Sizzler and a lot of the furniture is still from that era. The service is friendly and quick. OH, the margaritas are the best in town. The best part it is family owned and they have had the same chef since they opened over 30 years ago. If you go on a weekend night expect a wait, but I can assure you that it is definitely worth it. Again, the best place to eat Mexican food at a great price is Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant. It's located in Eastside Costa Mesa and is definitely a place to eat when in Costa Mesa.
