I am considering using Top Producers Market Snapshot.  I am a little hesitant because of the poor feedback I have gotten on some of their other products so wanted to see if I could get some feedback from people who have purchased it and used it.

Please, don't be afraid to comment on this product, I have used it as a pretend buyer but what to know peoples honest thoughts before I decide if I should purchase this or not.

Thank you all for your time.

Top producer is considered a great tool to use as a database and has many tools. I was going to use it but you need lots of time to play with it.....I was only looking to use it as a contact management program...I went with agent office and guess what?....I barely ever use it and pretty much wasted money if you want my opinion.

For me...I'd rather just produce my own stuff if I'm going to put the time into it.

James, I use Market Snapshot and have it embedded on both my website and wordpress blog.  It's an easy way to capture some leads that I might not ever have gotten, and I also send monthly reports to my past clients as well.  I don't have to do a thing and they stay up to date with the home values in their area - not to mention my name stays front and center while providing something of value and without spamming them since they can opt out at any time.

We have it embedded in our site and use it some other places. We got it because of some great reviews from some other agents, however we have not seen much no activity from it... after using it for about 4 months or so. Maybe we haven't used it enough yet!

I have thought about getting Market Snapshot.  I have top producer, however I need to go and take some classes so that I have the knowledge to use it to benefit my business.  It takes lots of time when you are trying to muddle through on your own.  Let me know if you in fact get Market Snapshot and some feedback on the product.

Hi Jim, Peter here from our office.  I've been using the Market Snapshot since October '07 and have found it to be the best way to stay on point with the information being disseminated to our clients.  I have effectively turned away from auto-email in the GSMLS because most of my clients are getting listings sent to them from several other sources and websites.  The problem I find with auto-email for me is a lack of trackability and a sense of "information overload".   In a sense, so many of the listings they may be receiving can slip right by them without them even noticing them.  The Snapshot forms a collection of sorts that shows the relevent search criteria on a continous basis as the local market is evolving and changing.

Also, it allows the recipient the options of when they can receive it; every 2,4 or 8 weeks.  So, instead of getting a flurry of listings, they essentially getting a "binder" that updates itself.

In the control panel of the program is a feature that allows you to see which clients have opened the Snapshot and how many times it was viewed.  This is very helpful in finding out how motivated the client is.  You can then use this information to provide a follow-up email or letter that is found within the Action Plan of TopProducer 8i.

I'm merely scratching the surface here but I make a point of taking every ReMax Web Lead that we get and entering them into my TPP and then generating a Market Snapshot based on what listings they have been looking at.  This is just an example.  Good Luck!
