In an earlier post today, I brought to view about how the United States REALLY is not that much alone, and in many ways not all that bad. Fortunately for any self-sustaining ego-percs I may or may not need, I came across a brand new article that pretty well bolsters the point:

"It barely seems possible that anyone is more pessimistic about corporate earnings prospects than American shareholders right now, with the U.S. stock market down almost 15% for the year and the banking system coming unglued before our eyes.

Yet if you take a moment to look around the world........"

Right fresh off the press, folks, and in a sense, it's music to my eyes right now:

Terry, I went to your story that you linked. I didn't understand the point being made. OK, they are down more than us. Are they going down more? Are we  going to follow? Is it time to jump in and buy foreign stocks? Is it time to sell everything?

How about not playing that game at all. Put all your eggs in the real estate basket. If the whole world falls apart nothing matters anyway, but if things do get better it is nice to have the advantage of leverage provided by real estate reasonably financed.
