I love nature, plants, animal and insects. I have always tried to take pictures of the butterfies but they often run away. I hope you will enjoy these shots of the butterflies from my Red Hook Buttefly Bushes. Sometimes I see a perfect shot but my camera is nowhere in sight.

Great shots. Your're right about capturing them before they fly away. What camera did you use for these. Did you zoom in? I had a butterfly visit in my garden this morning, but my camera was in the car.

Jennifer, I got one last year, in the same color, and these plants are amazing! I haven't caught (viewed) the variety that you show- mine are mostly white butterflies-but the plant itself just keeps on blooming. How on EARTH did you get such great photos??
