Summer Unique Marketing Contest So Who Won?

Hi All,

Well, we are well past the original deadline for submissions for the contest that Renae Bolton started and I for one have been sitting on pins and needles wondering who won... the contest that is. We have all won because of it.

I must admit that some of the ideas shared were indeed a breath of fresh air and just participating got my little juices flowing. I am looking forward to seeing the results.

Although how someone could ever judge all these terrific ideas against each other I'll never know. I am just glad I don't have to do it.

Now, excuse me while I order some M&M's, make some Lemonade, create some new Coloring Pages (my personal favorite :-), write my invites for the Block Party, fill some Balloons, write some Feedback, film my Video Open House, work on my Neighborhood Blog, create my local Website, design my new Coffee Cups, print my Candy Wrappers, make some Postcards, order some Address Labels, start Hiding My Logo all over town, creating my Community Photo Blog, Take My Dog For a Walk (note to self: get a dog :-) and Twitter My Listings.

I just read through all the entries, and they are all really good ideas. I can see myself using the coloring pages and recommending the lemonade stand to the Realtors I work with. I am new to AR but I am already starting to fall in love!

Welcome aboard! I have been a member since April 2007 and I have to say that the very best thing I EVER did for my Real Estate career (after finding the group of folks I work with :-) was to join Active Rain! I got my very first ever closed transaction by someone finding me here.

Oh, and with regard to the coloring pages, I am glad you like the idea, it truly is one of my favorites but I might be just a wee bit biased there :-) Once again, welcome and thanks for stopping by!

Pins and needles! I loved so many of the ideas in here. I do believe that I could see myself using some of them as well. :-) I'm glad that Renae sponsors this contest because it always gives me something new to try.... or gets my own bum in gear.

Hi Jeremy,

Well, I can tell from all the comments you left for me and others that you found a few that you liked. I did too. What a great opportunity to find out what others are doing that works. The only thing that will make it better is finding out the results not just of the contest but hearing from folks who try some of these tactics themselves to see how they fair.

Any word yet on a winner?!?!? :-) Just waiting and waiting! This was so much fun to read!!! All the great ideas. I keep mulling them around in my mind.
