What dorky writer wrote the Realtor.org synopsis article about Jennifer Allan's article in Realty Times? Successful RE Blogging: Don't Be Dorky Obviously, they didn't read the article, or it wouldn't be so dorky!
Jennifer, as always you have your finger on the market, dorky agents. I find your post to be a must read and your insight is always right on...
Here's the article they "summarized" awhile back that got me so upset... Some writers they have there at good old NAR! Here's the original.
Thanks for all the supportive comments!
Russell's pretty good that way - he "gets" it and he says what we all need to hear.
if russel likes it then that is a heck of a compliment, also any news is good news if you are picked up in the blogging universe
I guess that's why those Editors at Realtor.org make the big bucks.
Sometimes we just can't help what other people infer when we try to communicate with them. Glad we can come to the real source. Thanks for your blogs
Wow - you gonna frame that one? It's a keeper!!! ;P
Jenn - what a great idea!!!! I'm on it.
Rick - I'll always be here to clear up whatever mess NAR makes of my stuff...
Ken - I sure hope so! They surely deserve it.
Daniel - yeah, I was pretty tickled.
Christina - Agreed!
That is hilarious. The irony is killing me. Great article, too! (your version, obviously) Thanks!

Yep, the edited version--summary--is DORKY!
Does NAR know everthing? Not!
Jennifer, Yep, they dorked up your don't be a dork post. Fortunately, they didn't butcher it like last time.
So they dorked up your DORK post. Any irony at all in that?
So they dorked up your DORK post. Any irony at all in that?
Oh, yeah... lotsa good irony! Gives me good material to write MORE about!
Submit a piece to them about how to EDIT someone's words and not change the meaning/intention. They removed all the color & flavor in your original piece, which wasn't even that long to start with.
Erica - HA! Try getting anything thru to NAR - but that's a different topic. They absolutely butchered the last piece of mine that they "summarized" and wouldn't respond to me, not to Realty Times, not to my ad agency...
I have to say that YOUR blog was probably one of the best I have ever read. What is so disappointing is that they didn't put what you wrote on Realtor.com. They completely missed it. That is such a bummer!
Brooke
Livia - well thank you! I thought it was pretty good, myself, but apparently NAR didn't agree.
