U.S. Home Sales Rise in February

U.S. sales of existing homes rose by 3.9 percent in February, the largest increase since March 2004, the  Boston Herald reported on March 23, 2007.

After a tough 2006, the sales increase surely was music to the ears of listing agents.

"After five years in which sales set new records, [U.S.] sales of existing homes dropped by 8.5 percent last year, the biggest annual decline in 17 years."
