Vestas is a Danish company is words largest wind sorce company. They will be producing the worlds largest wind tower factory right here in Pueblo! The plant will cost approx $240 Million dollars and employ over 500 people. They also plan on putting plants in Windsor (blades) and Brighton Colorado (turbines).
To Pueblo as well as most of the front range this means jobs, houses and hopefully a boost to our economy. Pueblo has a steady work force, the new concrete plant and the steal mill to help support Vestas. Our Governor Ritter promised to help making Colorado Green and this is part of the plan.
As the first Ecobroker in Southern Colorado I was especially excited to hear this news for all the obvious reasons. Congratulations to all involved, the community can't wait to get started!

That is good news for Pueblo and for the environment. I like seeing more alternative forms of energy used. CA has several large windfarms out near the desert - there are a sight to behold and supply enough energy for thousands of homes annually as I understand.
