Less than two hours from Spokane WA lies the breathtaking paradise of Priest Lake Idaho. While there are literally dozens of lakes within short driving distance of Spokane, Priest lake just might be one of the most pristine, serene, rustic, majestic lakes in the world.

Bethann, This is one of the prettiest sunsets I've seen in a while and I am only a few miles from the Florida Keys! Love the ripple in the water. It certainly helps to stop and enjoy our beautiful country because God knows we can get wrapped up in the negative stuff way too quickly! Thanks for sharing this with us.

I have a very similar photo I took from the beach on Whidbey Island in Pugent Sound when I was in college. A college friend's family owned a house on the island and a bunch of us from Oregon State would visit there on Memorial Day weekend. I learned how to get Gooeyducks (Horseneck Clams) there. It is still some of my fondest memories. Thanks for a trip down memory lane!
Beautiful sunset! We have lots of lakes here in the Pinehurst area and I have often seen beautiful sunsets, I will sometimes go and sit and watch them from beginning to end. Really clears the mind. I just might take my camera along next time. Thanks for the photo.
