Lisa Leslie Our OLYMPIC Hero Again Wins Gold With Team in Women's Basketball

She now has four Olympic gold medals in women's basketball. Wow!

She sang and swayed through "The Star-Spangled Banner," at Beijing Olympics 2008 and later posed with her prizes from Atlanta, Sydney, Athens and Beijing, for all the world to see.

During interview she said "My wildest dream was just to play in one Olympics to represent my country." We thank Lisa for this.

The great athlete is now 36 years old, a formidable presence in the women's game, with lots of skills and savvy.

But she has a 1-year-old daughter, and now has other different priorities for her life, and might not return to basketball of OLYMPICS 2012. She has enjoyed a great run.

Lisa later after the winning game said "It was all about team for every minute, every second." The team winning streak stands at 33 games, dates to 1992.

Fantastic! Congratulations to Lisa Leslie and her team for this impressive win and Beijing OLYMPIC gold 2008.

Even though she said she won't be back, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if she does. She has the stamina of a navratilova(tennis) and the passion needed to endure. This is a small story now but i have a feeling this will get much bigger once more and more people find out about her achievements in the past 4 Olympics.
