Facebook-There's a fungus among us!

LMAO!!  I was soooo wondering why in the world Neal would send me an email about my ass - question answered.  And, NO, I did not click on the link!

Hi Neil - I just got one today and luckily for me my spam filter blocked it. The games people play just keep getting better and better.

Hi Neal - what a pain that must be.  I have no clue who I'm friends with on Facebook, I seldom go there, and joined for the same reason you did.  I haven't gotten anything like those emails mentioned above, but had I, they would have been deleted and not opened, knowing full well they weren't from who it said they were from.

Hi Neal, I did get one of these from you and my virus protection popped in inediately and almost in red flashing lights warned me not to click the link. Good to know that thing works. Hope everything turns out ok for you. People that do this are sickos.

As you can tell, I got the email from you and freaking opened it. Knew immediately I had a problem, when it started sending out emails to my facebook friends and I couldn't stop it!  YIKES!

I have a very good virus software and quickly ran it. It found virus and removed it. I will email you the link to the software. There is a free version. Should remove this virus for you.

Neal - Ever find out what the heck was going on with this?

Its starting to happen more and more. Some are easy to spot some not so much. I get them sent to my clients through my appraisal software contacts list  reference says appraisal report 12345689 so it looks like the attachment is a final report im sending out. I havent had a problem because typically the name is there and the header but there is no general text in the message just an attachment. Just be careful- dont know how they do it but its extremely annoying esp when it goes out to your clients :0)

Neal, Run your virus protector again, the virus I got kept sending a trojan out from other files for several days.  I think the whole thing is quarantined now! ( a total of 4 days...)

Now I know why I didn't join face book.  Hope you have it cleaned up.

I am so glad to know this. A friend invited me to join, but I have not done it. I think I will pass on it. I joined Myspace and realized it was a mistake. Sure hope you get it cleaned up.

Yikes. I like FB but dislike all of the exposure. Thanks for the update!
