Want something inexpensive to do around Greenville?

If you are a parent, every Saturday you wake up and think, "What am I going to do today with the kids?"  After months of going to the beach and mountains, they are just not satisfied sitting at home!

Gas is so expensive right now that I have begun to look at short afternoon trips.  First, it keeps my house clean.  Second, the kids enjoy an adventure.  Lastly, I get to spend some good times with my kids!

This weekend our adventure took my family to Goldsboro, North Carolina.  It is about 35 miles/40 minutes from Greenville. There is a wonderful cloth outlet there called The Cloth Barn.  Also, the home of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

We took the kids to Herman Park.  I spent $10.00.  We rode the train once and everybody got ice cream!  We stayed for about two hours.  It is a very clean park!  Next time I will pack a box lunch for a picnic.

Here is a virtual tour from the day: GOLDSBORO HERMAN PARK TRIP

As always, want to buy or sell in the Greenville area please call me.  I would love to help you!
