Karen George, Rest In Peace

Cancer really does stink. The "C" word as I call it took a special lady today, Karen George. It took her away from us and her family, including her husband Michael. My heart aches for him.

I have enjoyed the Social Butterfly hat I've been wearing lately - but its also hard as you get to know so many people, along come the tragedies and they are hard.

Karen was one of the first blogs I subscribed to - and I remember getting so excited when she posted about how to change the size and color of your fonts in HTML!!! That was only a teeny, tiny bit of what she shared, but it was needed at the time.

Missy Caulk has told me a few times.... go back and read what Karen George has written, go back and read Karen's posts..... She was held in high esteem here at ActiveRain and I will miss her!

We will turn the rifles into spades and the tanks into tractors.

Lions and lambs will play together in the fields.

And there will be no more cancer.

Kim, I heard this news earlier today from George Tallabas. So sad. She was one of the good ones.

This really is sad. I was so sorry to hear of this loss. God bless Karen and her family.

Kim, my thoughts and prayers are with Michael and the rest of Karen's family, It was a sad day, I read George's and Joey's and I know I have a google alert of Brad's to read. Karen's words and wisdom and memory will live forever. I am so thankful for her and the words and training she left behind. She will be missed by all.

Kim, a nice tribute. Karen will be sorely missed. I am always referring to Karen's blogs for my own info or to help newbies get started.

I read about this the other day and it is so sad that we have lost a valued member of the rain at such a young age. My prayers go out to her friends and family in their time of mourning.
