I am new to this site(as you can see i just joined 2 days ago)

I have read many interesting ideas from many people from all over the country

I was mearly passing those ideas along(and those ideas are basically common knowledge-not some ground breaking research) to people in my part of the counrty

I have removed those previous posts and posting this as an apology.

Dominick,

Thanks for owning it and explaining it.  Please stick with AR, it's really a great group of people, who need to remember what it's like to be new and not know the policies.  I hope to read your posts in the future.

Dominick,

Thanks for the post. I would advise you to read the links that Jeff mentioned as well as one I posted yesterday. Should I Cut and Paste? Even if the articles were only going to appear on your site, you still would be coming across as the "author" to anyone who read them. Welcome, but be sensitive to what others create.

Dominick, I've been here since July, AR only started in June. I still step on toes, but I don't care. My intent is to attract potiential clients. I've made many friends, have gotten and given referrals. There is a lot to learn here I hope you stick with it. Read the newbies group and blogging 101 group.

i appreciate everyones understanding in the matter

It will not happen again.............

as i said all i am trying to do is pass along ideas that others have to people who might find it interesting and could use it

i thought it would be just on my page(and i wont do that either now) i wasnt trying to pass this off as a work of my own

maybe im missing the whole point of this site.

Dominick, I'm relatively new and I haven't posted yet!  I can get in enough trouble just responding to blogs.  Soon, I will be posting. At least you have gotten your feet wet.

It is alright to use other people's work.  You just need to get their permission and give them due credit when you use the information.  Similar to the foot notes you had to include to give credit to you sources when you wrote reports in school.  That's all.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to AR - there's a lot to learn and most of us have made mistakes along the way - I know I did - keep at it.

Hi Dominick...I am new too and I can see how things here can be a bit confusing.  Keep plugging away though...things should only get easier.

I have not been on AR for very long either and it can be confusing sometimes as to the correct protocol.  The good thing is that if you ask a questions, there are plenty of folks willing to give you an answer.

Dominick,

Very professional of you to own up. I think you would have been just contacted directly except for the number of posts the author found this month. Best of luck and stay in AR

I read the other blog about the copying & clicked over here to check your page out. I'm glad you now understand how this site works. It's one thing to link to, or forward someone else's work (permission should always be asked for) but quite another to just copy & paste into your own blog.

You are not the only who made this mistake & I do believe that it was a mistake in just not knowing how the site works.

Welcome to active rain & good luck.

Dominik,

Welcome to AR, and I hope this does not spoil the experience for you. It is quite obvious to me that you did not understand the "rules".  Hope you continue to blog and comment.

With all that is going on today especially with the sub prime market i think that realtors will need a Mortgage banker whos knowledge can get their deals closed. No one wants a yes man who just says they can get deals closed.
