Flipping through the real estate section of the Sunday paper this past weekend I came across a story that speaks wonders to the real estate market.  The headline of the article was "Time to nibble on property?"  The article was about how real estate is a long-term investment.  Many people I speak to about the slumping real estate market simply think of real estate as a quick investment and don't look far enough into the future to realize how their investment will increase in value over the long-term.  While property values may increase and decrease in the short-term, the overall trend in real estate is always price increase!

Its like any investment; the only way to make money is to stick with it. Short term investments are far riskier. They always say buy when stocks are down.. well the same should hold true for real estate.

The days of flipping are over... seems that the HGTV Shows really messed a lot of people up... IMO
