Well thanks to Newt Gingrich for reposting my prior blog on his website regarding my yelp for help! I need a C.P.A. that is willing to work pro bono to help me set up a 5013c. I know accountants that could do it but they all want to get paid! I KNOW there are accountants out there that care about society..this is America! Land of the Brave...so I wait for that Brave Accountant to come forward and offer his or her services. This 5013c will raise funds for Alzhemier's (former President Ronald Reagan and a Lady who was like a second Mom to me RIP), Parkinson"s(Michael J Fox and my friend's Father) and a rarer disease called Huntington's Chorea(Woody Guthrie had it and so does a close family member of mine).
I had been involved with fundraising about $4000 a few years a go with the Huntington's Disease Society of America but have a different strategy that will be focused on motiviating the medical community to finda cure for one of these diseases. The message of this 5013c that I want to form is that the real solution to our HealthCare problems is to find Cures for diseases. I want to raise $1 million dollars! Medicines and prescriptions are vital to our comfort but they are money takers and cures are money makers! Cures reduces prescription cost, hospital stays, doctor bills and suffering. When was the last time we have had a cure for a disease? Was it Polio?
We have become a more tehnologically advanced society and have created many useful medicines. Finding a cure for one of these diseases is the next challenge to America..We are still the ONLY country that has reached the Moon and Sen Kennedy is right...our flag still stands on the Moon...but now is the time to change our medical healthcare system that the Politicians can not and never will be able to solve in terms of reducing cost. It is the medical community that will solve the system, they willprovide the Solutions and their is nothing more American than that!
Somewhere in the Land of the Brave an accountant will come forward. This truth I know will be Self Evident.
