The worst title issue ever!

So what has been the worst title issue you have ever had to tackle to make a closing happen? 

My worst would have to had been a few years ago where I had a huge mess with a few deeds back in the chain in which the property was not properly devised and an heir had made a claim and there was a huge mess where I had to try and track people down and get them to Quit Claim.  It got bad when one of them asked for money and refused to sign.  Eventually common sense and some nice letters got the point across and we managed to clear the title mess and get it closed.
