Midori, it is an honor to have someone 'reblog' your post, plus your name is still attached with a link to your site - PLUS points.  All is well..

This has been such an emotional topic and for the time being I'm undecided.

I like re-blogging also as a form of very good information that I can re-publish.  Now if only I could write something good enough for someone to want to re-blog!!

Well, we can put another check-mark in the yes column.  I am still undecided, but you make a strong argument.

Reblogging is definitely a good thing, we're all for it but haven't actually reblogged anyone yet.

To re-blog or not to re-blog.  Hmmm... starting to lean towards the yay vs, the nay and it's your post that did it.

Midori, as the old saying goes, when some one copies you isn't that the ultimate flatery. With that said I still find it anoying when people do not give credit wher credit belongs....How hard is it to say :   I read somewhere...Midori wrote....and then repeat same.....Don't you agree???

Midori: Reblogging is one of the best ways to get more exposure on the internet and in your market. I am a firm believer, especially the way AR has set it up. Thanks for getting the word out.

I think it is great...haven't used the feature yet, but plan to....just want to make sure all the copy right stuff is ok when I find a blog re-blog!

I would think that as long as the post gets reblogged unchanged with links and credit to the original writer, it would be a good thing.

Midori - This is an outstanding example of how re-blogging was probably intended to work.  I have seen other posts where it appears others just outright try to steal someone's work.  However, if you are giving proper credit, or networking with your counterparts in other professions - this is great. I personally just did a new blog, but the contents gave credit to the original two blogs that I pulled the information from.  (I also provided links back to the original blog posts, since they were not out there to be re-blogged - they were from many, many months ago.)

Reblogging is a compliment. Reblogging means links. In the blogoshere, links are love. Whuffie can be gained as long as you spread the linklove.

I guess I'm just finding my own voice to AR since I'm new...but would reblog content with credit due if it adds to a piece i'm doing and has value!
