Yeah Baby! You Can Re-Blog Mine Anytime!

Call me an SEO tramp...or maybe smart!  Re-blog I love it for many reasons. I see opportunity with reblogging and lots of it.  Is reblogging a word? well not according to spell check! :)

You want to re-blog one of my posts..Thanks and go for it.  At first I didn't understand the whole thing but the term made sense.

I don't see the plagiarism factor...I don't see anything negative about it...maybe I just don't know or maybe I just don't care.

For me the good outweighs the bad...

Sometimes you have to take risks..to distinguish the differences

  • How bad can it be when another blogger chooses your article to be re-blogged and posted once again?
  • How bad can it be when another local agent re-blogs your posts..my link...my name and I got credit?
  • I love it and they felt is was news worthy enough for their subscribers to read...and you luck out with the additional exposure!
  • How bad can it be when your loan officer and yourself can do some joint online marketing, don't forget the rest of your business affiliates?
  • I see a little collaboration going on...teamwork...hey a great way show off..all of you.
  • How bad can it be when I got 3 google alerts in the same day for the same post?

Indexing, spiders, additional exposure, bookmarked, fed, additional subscribers, more readers..the possibilities are endless.

Are you digging it? Yeah Baby..... You Can Reblog mine anytime!

Midori, it is an honor to have someone 'reblog' your post, plus your name is still attached with a link to your site - PLUS points.  All is well..

I like re-blogging also as a form of very good information that I can re-publish.  Now if only I could write something good enough for someone to want to re-blog!!

Well, we can put another check-mark in the yes column.  I am still undecided, but you make a strong argument.

Midori,

I couldn't agree with you more!  In fact, I liked your post enough that I just did my first re-blog.

I re-blogged this post of yours... It seemed like an appropriate kick-off to this new tool...

Cheers,
-Bill

You can re-blog me anytime as well. You write very good posts. I might have to read more of your blogs and see which one I can re-blog. Great post.

Reblogging is definitely a good thing, we're all for it but haven't actually reblogged anyone yet.

I'm totally with you on this one. So, since you're the SEO tramp, I guess I'll be the SEO ho? LOL. That sounds both catchy and terrible at the same time!

To re-blog or not to re-blog.  Hmmm... starting to lean towards the yay vs, the nay and it's your post that did it.

Midori, as the old saying goes, when some one copies you isn't that the ultimate flatery. With that said I still find it anoying when people do not give credit wher credit belongs....How hard is it to say :   I read somewhere...Midori wrote....and then repeat same.....Don't you agree???

Midori: Reblogging is one of the best ways to get more exposure on the internet and in your market. I am a firm believer, especially the way AR has set it up. Thanks for getting the word out.

I would think that as long as the post gets reblogged unchanged with links and credit to the original writer, it would be a good thing.

Midori - This is an outstanding example of how re-blogging was probably intended to work.  I have seen other posts where it appears others just outright try to steal someone's work.  However, if you are giving proper credit, or networking with your counterparts in other professions - this is great. I personally just did a new blog, but the contents gave credit to the original two blogs that I pulled the information from.  (I also provided links back to the original blog posts, since they were not out there to be re-blogged - they were from many, many months ago.)

Reblogging is a compliment. Reblogging means links. In the blogoshere, links are love. Whuffie can be gained as long as you spread the linklove.

I guess I'm just finding my own voice to AR since I'm new...but would reblog content with credit due if it adds to a piece i'm doing and has value!
