This is the beginning of new blog directed towards real estate and mortgages consumers. 2007 has brought to the market a lot of consumer choice when it comes to real estate and mortgage services. Buyers can search for their home online 24/7. Sellers can check prices and search for evaluations online. Paperless transactions will soon be the norm, and last but not least the debate on real estate commissions continues. We want to ask some very basic questions to all real estate and mortgage consumers throughout the country and start a dialog:
- "What is it that real estate consumers really want from a Real Estate Agent?"
- "Do you really think you need a Real Estate Agent?"
- "How comfortable are you with real estate contracts and negotiation?"
- "What value do you put on a Real Estate Agent?"
- "What fee for professional representation is fair?"
- "Are you familiar with "Fee for Service' 'Flat Fee' 'A la Carte' and 'Discount' programs?"
- "What are your experiences as a For Sale By Owner?"
- "What are your experiences working with an Agent?"
- "Would you use them again or look for a new one?"
- "What services do you want from a Mortgage Broker or Lender?"
- "What is a fair fee for these services?"
- "Do you understand how Points work?"
- "What has been your experience working with a Mortgage Broker or Lender?"
- "Would you refer them?"
- "Would you look for another one?"
This dialog is important for consumers and professionals as it will help us better understand and meet your needs.
