As a quick follow up to my previous blog, "What if I don't like it?" I just wanted to say that I spoke to both the Realtor and Seller today to find out their thoughts about the final staging. The Realtor has updated the photos on the web and I'm happy to report both Realtor and client really "liked it!".

The seller even went as far as to ask whether or not I can do the same for their new residence, "Yes!" and I'll be making an appointment for a home staging consultation very soon.

Building trust is something I value with my clients and I totally get their hesitation if they "don't know if they'll like it."

I work to continually improve my service and my craft and it is my goal to make many others like "it" especially the HOUSE!

BEFORE: This was an area that buyers were having a hard time seeing where to put the TV with an angle in the room, the cables were actually opposite to the fireplace on the wall across the room (out of the shot of the photo)

AFTER: Proper placement of furniture and an entertainment armoire shows buyers exactly where to put the TV or even a flat screen over the fireplace in the future.

Thx for sharing -- it looks marvelous, my dear!

question?  did you have the entertainment center in inventory or did you rent?  I often deliberate on the way to go when this piece needs to be shown for electronics.

Karen, don't you just LOVE that?  It's so validating!  We currently have several Interior Design and Decorating projects going on that ALL came from Sellers that used our Staging, or the LREAs themselves. =) woo-hoo!

Hi Karen, What a positive validation of your work when the client also asks for your services at the new home. Isn't it fun?

I love the 3 vases w/ the curly willow on the table behind the couch. Congratulations!

Thank you Cynthia, the vases were from Garden Ridge last year.

The fireplace needed something I thought Tosha because for some tastes it was outdated, thanks for noticing the chairs!

Thank you for reading Kathy, Jessica and Wendy!

Hey Janice, I'm OK if they don't love it but do want them to understand that I want buyers to love the house!

Karen, your funiture placement looks warm, open...and very inviting. Not to mention, your colour choice really highlights the beautiful focal point, the fireplace. Thanks for showing us!

Yes Liz in November I'll be hosting the SIF Roundtable again at CORT in IRVING. Keep checking my blog.

Thanks Tanya!

Yes Sharon, I lean towards being a minimalist when it comes to staging - simplicity and a clear vision sells in the price points I work with.

Thank you Ms. Terrylynn!

The fireplace was a little bit of a challenge and I wanted colors to enhance it. Today many of the fireplaces here in TX are natural stone, not brick, so to some it's dated. Thank you Wendy!
