Day 2 was a short day for me as the Mega Agent Camp ended at noon and I didn't go to the Commercial presentation this afternoon. Today featured Mark Zupan (paralymics participant) and Grammy award winning guitar player Larry Carlton. Both of these guys experienced devastating injuries but came through it in a great way. Certainly makes me feel blessed with my situation.

Dianna Kokoszka led a session that dealt with call reluctance and there were panel discussions relating to dealing with FSBO's and expireds.

I personally have enjoyed seeing what the vendors are offering and of course, getting some freebies. Buyer Acquire, Fax by Mail, and Wise Agent are of great interest to me. If any of you have any comments, pro or con, I'd like to hear them.

I only wish there was a way for all the agents to interact together a little more-maybe some meals together or something like that but this has been a great experience and I look forward to next year. This also really makes me want to go to Famly Reunion, and Orlando in February? That's a no brainer.

I went to the MEGA Camp, yesterday to meet with some of the Realtors there, plus meet with some the Trade Show people. I was very impressed with event.

Steve... I'm really glad Mega Camp has been a great experience for you.  Please look for me tomorrow at Tech... I feel badly that I have not spotted you so far!

Dianna Kokoszka led a session that dealt with call reluctance

Hi Steve,

Was this session about cold calling?  Did she happen to offer any statistics on call effectiveness?

Steve---I will look for you at tech.  Look for a black KW cap

Dianna Had John Alexandrov with her and a lot of what they discussed  was types od call reluctance--things like referral aversion and telephone terror. Having been in many types of sales my entire life, I can tell you I still have call reluctance. You have to change your mindset--or as Gary Keller said Monday, "set your mind" to overcome it. In one of the panels reference was made to knowing how many dollars each call was worth. I think that makes it easier when you keep score.

Hi Steve:

We went to the Mega part only this year.  This is the first time we have not included the tech part.  We have done a lot of good things tech-wise this year, so we thought we would give it a break.

I feel so good that I work in Oklahoma, after hearing speaker after speaker talk about how their business was done 40-50-60% over two years ago.  I am trying to hit last years numbers and feeling kind of bad, NOT NOW.

Well, have a great day!  I am going to add you as an associate.  Let's stay in touch.  Take care.

Stan....Thanks for your comments. I have added you as an associate too. The tech camp was really awesome--it was the best part, I thought. I am not a techie but am trying hard to "get it." Any ideas or words of wisdom  (especially  from a tech standpoint) would be appreciated. Have a great holiday and be safe!
