Do you love to listen to traditional Southern Appalacian music? Pickin' will be alive and well at the Stuart Auditorium at Lake Junaluska this weekend (August 29th and 30th). The Smoky Mountain Folk Festival will be 'a twangin' with fiddlers, banjo players, square dancers and the like. According to local news coverage:
"The festival is among the longest running and most authentic folk festivals in the South and offers spectators the chance to experience a wide variety of the region’s finest traditional performers. Each night will feature open tent shows on the lawn of Stuart Auditorium where more than 200 dancers and musicians will perform."
