Lake Vista in Forest, Virginia

History
In 1979, 259 acres of open field and forest were purchased with the intent of forming a new residential community in the town of Forest in Bedford County, Virginia. Located just outside of the city of Lynchburg, Virginia, Lake Vista was founded in 1984 as a premiere planned community.
The neighborhood consists of condominium units, townhouses and single family homes. There are two lakes located within the subdivision, Hutter and Swan. Amenities include walking paths, a community center, and junior Olympic size pool and tennis courts.

There is a Property Owner's Association with Board of Directors. Each Condominium and Townhome community has its own Neighborhood Association President.
There are approximately 245 Single Family homes. POA fees for single family homes are $60.00 per month and include trash and snow removal.
