I just wanted to give you a tip on one of the hidden gems in historic downtown Lawrenceville. If you are in the square, make sure you stop in and grab a bite to eat and a really good cup of coffee at The Flying Saucer Retro Cafe and Bakery. The owners are friends of mine and I can tell you that they really put their heart into satisfying their customers. Their meals are made from scratch, the coffee they make is top of the line and the desserts are hand made and out of this world. They are located directly across from the front entrance of the old courthouse on the square. They have a pretty dedicated Karaoke crowd on Thursday nights and there is a gentleman who sings some Saturday nights that sounds so much like Frank Sinatra it's scary! Drop in and ask for Edie, tell her Joe Brooks told you about the place and I promise you will not be disappointed!
